Space can be rented for 9-hours,
which includes vendor load-in and load-out.
Yes. Non-preferred caterers must be approved by the venue at least 90 days in advance of the contracted event date. Lakes at Lacey recommends working with one of our preferred catering partners. Find more info on preferred vendors by contacting us.
No. All food and beverage including alcohol must be provided by a licensed caterer that has a State of Illinois liquor license AND a Village of Downers Grove Liquor License. Please inquire with our Event Sales Team to learn more.
The following items are not permitted at Lakes at Lacey: helium balloons, glitter, confetti, rice, birdseed, petals, bubbles, the use of tape, nails, or hooks to hang signage or décor, votive candles and enclosed candles. No open flames are permitted within the event space. Sparklers, cold sparklers, dry ice, smoke/fog machine, and any other pyrotechnical devices are prohibited.
Rental rates vary depending on the particular space being utilized. Our rental fee is inclusive of the event space(s), on-site security and janitorial for the duration of your event, use of on-site equipment, setup of our on-site equipment, and vendor load-in guidance.
No. Lakes at Lacey does not provide wedding and event coordination services. We highly recommend utilizing a planner for weddings and larger events. Referrals can be provided upon request.
Yes. Tours are conducted by appointment only, Monday-Friday 10am-4pm with limited Saturday availability. Please visit our contact us page to learn more.
Yes. Lakes at Lacey hosts a variety of events including corporate and non-profit galas, bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, milestone birthdays – and more!
Yes. A courtesy hold may be placed for a specific date. In cases such as these, the client who has the hold will have the right of first refusal should another client be interested in renting the space on the same date. A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit secures the space.
